We’re happy to announce that all our Foundry code modules have now been updated to support
Foundry Virtual Tabletop version 13!
This was a major step for us—there’s a lot of code across our library—and we’ve taken the opportunity to clean up and streamline a few things along the way. But with the update complete, we’re also making an important change moving forward:
We will no longer be supporting earlier versions of Foundry. We know some of you are still running version 12 or earlier, but we simply don’t have the resources to maintain multiple versions. If you’re using an older version of Foundry, we recommend checking carefully before installing updates. Things may break. If you need help upgrading your game safely, feel free to reach out.
Why V13 Matters
Foundry V13 brings several quality-of-life improvements and performance upgrades that make module development smoother and gameplay better for everyone. Here are just a few highlights:
- Document-based Token Vision: Token settings like light emission and sight range are now saved with the actor or token prototype, making it easier to manage consistent configurations.
- Drag-and-Drop Improvements: Items and journal entries can now be dragged more intuitively between windows, and the new sidebar behavior is more responsive.
- Rich Text Enhancements: Journal entries and chat messages support cleaner formatting with better control over links, tables, and inline content.
- Performance Upgrades: The V13 core engine includes improved rendering performance and reduced load times, especially on scenes with lots of tokens or lights.
- New Hooks and API Utilities: Module developers (like us!) now have more fine-grained tools for interacting with documents, improving compatibility and stability.

We’ll continue building and refining our modules with full V13 support in mind. If you encounter any issues—or just want to say thanks
Thanks for adventuring with us!
